International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking ; June 26,2024

June 26- On the occasion of World Anti-Drug Day, Mount Tabor Training College NSS Unit organized Mime , Poetry Recitation and Anti-Drug Day Pledge in C.A.M.H.S, Salempuram School to convey anti-drug message. Head mistress Mrs. Janet inagurated the programme and Malayalam teacher Dr. Jose. K. Thankachan gave a message against drug abuse.

National Reading Day is celebrated on June 19 in India to honour Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker, popularly known as PN Panicker. He was a renowned teacher and revered as the father of the library movement in Kerala. PN Panicker, who played a significant role in the literacy movement in India. Reading helps in improving memory and creativity as well as helps to reduce stress.

 ലോക വയോജന ദിനം 2024

ഇന്ന് (ജൂൺ 15) ലോക വയോജന ദുരുപയോഗ ബോധവൽക്കരണ ദിനം. മുതിർന്ന പൗരന്മാർ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന ചൂഷണത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ജനങ്ങളെ ബോധവത്കരിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് എല്ലാ വർഷവും ജൂൺ 15 ന് ലോക വയോജന ദുരുപയോഗ ബോധവൽക്കരണ ദിനം ആചരിക്കുന്നത്. കോവിഡ് മഹാമാരിയ്ക്കിടയിൽ ഈ വർഷത്തെ ലോക വയോജന ദുരുപയോഗ ബോധവൽക്കരണ ദിനം കൂടുതൽ പ്രസക്തമാണ്. 

Community Living Programme

  Kadhal ( Embrace the Essence )

Honourable Minister for Agriculture P. Prasad officially inaugurated our Community Living Programme named "Kaathal". The name "kadhal" was revealed by college principal Dr. Rosamma Philip and coordinators, Dr. Smitha Eapen, Dr. Soorya Chandramohan and Mrs. Ceena Chacko.There was 5 sub themes named 'bhoomika', ' koode', 'Verukal', 'Disha', and 'Nabhas'. Leaders from each optional explanined about each sub theme. The CLP camp venue was Maromon Retreat Centre Kozhencherry. The student coordinators arranged many activities like games, cultural programmes, classes, nature walk, camp fire etc.  And the camp ended with one day tour to Thenmala. It was a wonderful experience for us.Through the camp, we were able to understand, share and adjust with each other and the camp gave many good moments.

This year's World Environment Day campaign focused on land restoration, desertification and drought resilience under the slogan “Our land. Our future. We are #GenerationRestoration.”
