Nikhitha P S: BI WEEKLY REPORT - School Internship Phase -1

WEEK - 3

Phase 1 school internship re-started on 08th November 2023, Wednesday. The school I went for internship is CAM HS, Salempuram.

At 9. 15 am me and the other teacher trainees from different optional have reached the school. We met the Head mistress and handed over the attendance register. We had a small talk with other teachers and they explained our duties and we took the timetable for respective classes for teaching. I have got the class (VIII).I went to VIII standard on fourth period and interacted with the students and gave a brief introduction about the chapter (DIVERSITY FOR SUSTANANCE). The day ended well. On next day 9/11/23,I didn't have class on my subject. But I get substitution class of 9th standard. Rest of the day I prepare teaching aids and make preparation for the next class. On 10/11/23, I have 2nd period on class 8. I take the class and clarified the doubts of students. The day is nice. And was a good experience. Then 11th & 12th are holidays.

WEEK - 4

On monday 13/11/2023,we reached the school on time. I had class on VIII on 6th period. I took the portion 'Trophic level'. In the 6th period I went to VII th standard for substitution. It was a good experience to interact with students and I have given some interactive games. On 14/11/2023,Tuesday was Children's day. We the teacher trainees make some competition to students. Quiz competition and Essay writing was the main items. As per schedule I have no class. We make preparations for the competitions. In the after noon I along with other teacher trainees went to 8th standard to conduct quiz competition . Then Essay competition were conducted. It was a nice experience for me. On 15/11/2023,wednesday there is no classes as per schedule. The afternoon session I got substitution and I interacted with students on various topics. They all responded well. On 16/11/2023 I have no scheduled class. I went to VIII, IX standards for classes and substitution. On next day 17/11/2023,as per timetable I had 2 nd period in 8th standard. I took the portion " Ecological Interaction ". After that i gives notes and clarify the doubts and summarize the topic taught. Almost everything went well according to my lesson plans. This week was good for me.
